Why is the ICL Cup Important?
Swiss students and apprentices have very few opportunities to travel for an internship abroad during their regular curriculum. The ICL Cup offers them a chance to discover China in the best conditions possible so they can broaden their horizons and improve their employability in the long run.
Although China is our third largest economic partner, it is often perceived negatively by the Swiss youth. We hope that bringing ambassadors to China with the ICL Cup will decrease the perception gap.
How to Become a Partner?
As a company, a public or private institution, or a non profit organization, you can sponsor a position for one or more students or apprentices from your region.
As a company, you can reward your best apprentices or employees with a position, or you can offer this chance to children of your staff or customers as a perk.
We are also welcoming individuals, associations, chambers of commerce, and foundations who would like to promote the initiative or make a donation to our national selection fund.
What can I gain as a partner?
- Gain targeted visibility and become more attractive to young talents in major Swiss schools and universities through our social media, website, and media marketing initiatives.
- Receive written testimonials, pictures, and videos for your internal and external communication along with a report summarizing the experience.
- Improve employee motivation and loyalty by rewarding your team with innovative and educational travel opportunities.
- Define selection criteria for your own contest and receive all the participant contact information and CVs.
- Assign a specific project or research you would like the candidate to perform for you and gain valuable insider insights.
What does my contribution cover ?
8'000 CHF per scholarship
You can define your selection criteria and host a contest in your name by sponsoring at least one participant. Your contribution will cover all the expenses related to a two month stay in Shanghai for one young Swiss student or apprentice. This includes:
