Program Objectives
We were very happy to host for the second consecutive year a group of 6 apprentices accompanied by their teacher to work on projects with local startup companies in Shanghai.
The goal of the program was to get the apprentices out of their daily work routine and immersed in a new professional environment. With only three weeks at their disposal, each team had to resolve a specific issue for their project owner and prepare a final presentation
Program Highlights
Our apprentices formed three teams to work on three different projects with local companies, attend language lessons and cultural activities along with company visits and professional workshops.
Projects ranged from Website Development and Data Management to IOT programming giving the apprentices a large choice of new skills to learn.
We organized several activities with the apprentices and helped them meet local students as well as learn about the cultural differences between China and Switzerland.
